Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an "order"?

An order is any sales transaction synced from your e-commerce platform (Shopify or WooCommerce) to your accounting system (Sage 50 or Xero). Refunds and adjustments are not counted separately.

What is Custom VAT Mapping?

Custom VAT Mapping means our engineer configures the VAT rules in your accounting system to exactly match your products, channels, and tax authority requirements — including Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance for UK clients. This is included in the Professional plan.

What does "First month setup" mean?

On all plans, your first month includes a hands-on setup session with our lead engineer. We configure the integration, map your tax codes, and test the sync end-to-end before you go live.

What if the sync fails or breaks?

We monitor all integrations continuously. If a sync failure occurs, we are alerted automatically and will investigate and resolve within 1 business day. You will be notified by email. We keep a full sync log so no data is ever lost — any failed transactions are re-queued and processed once the issue is resolved.

Do you store my API credentials or passwords?

No. All connections to Shopify, WooCommerce, Sage 50, and Xero use OAuth2 authentication — we never see or store your passwords. API tokens are encrypted at rest and are only used to perform the sync.

How do I contact support?

Is there a contract or commitment?

No long-term contracts. All plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time.
